The Information We Collect About You

Information We Collect Directly From You. You may browse our Site without registering. However, to access certain features and view or download certain content, you may be asked to provide your name, email, other contact information, country, and other demographic information. In addition, if you submit a “Contact Us,” “Complaint” or other form through the Site, we collect information about you and the reason you are submitting the form, including name, email, other contact information, facility, title, and other relevant information. CONMED is headquartered in the United States, and has affiliates, subsidiaries and service providers in the United States and worldwide. Our Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms
We and our third-party service providers use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to track information about your use of our Site and Services. We may combine this information with other personal information we collect from you.

Clear GIFs, pixel tags and other technologies. Clear GIFs (a.k.a. tracker gifs, beacons, web bugs or pixel tags) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer’s hard drive, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages. We may use clear GIFs to, among other things, track the activities of Site visitors and users, help us manage content, and compile statistics about Site usage. We and our third-party service providers also use clear GIFs in HTML emails to our customers, to help us track email response rates, identify when our emails are viewed, and track whether our emails are forwarded.
Third Party Analytics. We use automated devices and applications, such as Sitecore analytics cookie, to evaluate usage of our Site. We also may use other analytic means to evaluate our Services. We may work with third parties such as ad network operators, who assist us and others in displaying advertisements on third party websites and evaluating the success of our advertising campaigns. These third parties may display advertisements based on your visits to our Sites as well as other websites, in order to show you more relevant ads for products and services you might be interested. These third parties’ practices are governed by their own privacy policy, not this one. We may provide these third-party advertisers with information about your usage of our Sites, as well as other aggregate or non-personally identifiable information We do not share your personal information with these third parties.

Please note that opting out of participating ad networks does not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic or “contextual” ads on our website. Any access to and use of such linked websites is not governed by this Policy, but instead is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party websites. We are not responsible for the information practices of such third-party websites.
Security of My Personal Information
We have implemented reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, and we will take reasonable steps, through contractual or other reasonable means, to ensure that a comparable level of protection is implemented by our suppliers and agents. Right to Access My Personal Information
You may access the personal information that you have submitted to us, and request that we update or correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete by. Please note that we may maintain a copy of any personal information that you have updated for a period of time as part of our backups and business records.
EU users have additional rights in respect of their personal information; for example, to access, block or erase their personal information, obtain a copy of their personal information, object to our use of it, or revoke consent to our processing. If required by applicable law, we will send you marketing and promotional communications only upon your request or with your consent. Our Services are not designed for minor persons (such as children under the age of majority). If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.
