Its next-generation components work together to support visualization, controlled tendon cutting, graft preparation, and proximal resection.

The Infinity™ Quad Tendon Retractor is designed to accommodate arthroscopic visualization during tendon harvest. Its adjustable design provides controlled, variable skin retraction, maintains elevation of the surgical incision, and includes a dedicated slot for a scope to support continuous visualization during the harvest.
Disposable Double Blades are available in 6 mm and 8 mm harvest depths with multiple graft-width options, allowing the surgeon to select the configuration that aligns with the intended graft dimensions.
The reverse Double Blades feature a depth limiter designed to support consistent 6 mm or 8 mm harvest depth, while instrument markings help establish the intended graft dimensions before proximal transection.
The Tendon Stripper features a blunt cutting edge designed to separate layers and adhesions to help preserve graft integrity. The Proximal Tendon Cutter enables consistent resection of the proximal end of the quadriceps tendon.
A Step-by-Step Quad Tendon Harvesting Technique

The adjustable Infinity™ Quad Tendon Retractor provides controlled, variable skin retraction and maintains elevation of the surgical incision. A dedicated scope slot supports continuous visualization during tendon harvest.
The system uses a proximal-to-distal tendon cutting technique to support controlled harvesting. Reverse Double Blades are offered in multiple width and depth configurations and include a depth limiter designed for consistent 6 mm or 8 mm harvest depth.
Available configurations
The Infinity™ Tendon Stripper features a blunt cutting edge designed to separate tendon layers and adhesions to help preserve graft integrity. Reusable left- and right-handed configurations are available.
The Infinity™ Proximal Tendon Cutter is designed to support consistent resection of the proximal end of the quadriceps tendon after the intended graft length has been established.
Prepare the incision and expose the distal quadriceps tendon and proximal patella. The surgical technique describes an approximately 3.5 cm vertical incision extending 1 cm distal to the superior pole of the patella.
Insert the Quad Tendon Retractor, secure the proximal hooks beneath the skin, and adjust the Retractor to create space for tendon visualization.
Place the camera into the Retractor cradle and adjust the Retractor to visualize the quadriceps tendon while avoiding adjacent muscle structures.
Select the appropriate Double Blade Cutter based on the targeted graft dimensions. Insert the protected cutter, retract the guard, and create the parallel longitudinal tendon cuts.
Use the Tendon Stripper to free adhesions along the harvested tendon segment.
Tag the graft, advance the Proximal Tendon Cutter to the intended graft length, confirm the measurement, and activate the cutter to complete proximal transection.

The Infinity™ Quad Tendon Harvesting System supports a range of harvesting approaches based on surgeon preference and procedural needs.
The system can be used to prepare a partial-thickness quadriceps tendon graft when clinically appropriate. The Surgical Technique Guide notes that tendon thickness may be estimated through preoperative midsagittal MRI to help inform graft planning.
A full-thickness approach may be selected based on tendon dimensions and the surgeon’s clinical judgment.
The system supports all-soft tissue graft harvesting as well as graft preparation with a bone block.
