AlloAid® Cartilage Matrix
A cell-free, 100% allograft cartilage solution designed to treat cartilage voids by triggering the creation of hyaline-like cartilage. Provided as a 1cc graft, the material is mixed with sterile saline or autologous blood—0.8 mL for a putty-like consistency or 1.0 mL for a paste.
The graft is lyophilized and freezer milled for optimal particle size and extrusion. The extracellular matrix contains type II collagen, proteoglycans, and key growth factors including TGF-β1, FGF-2, IGF-1, BMP-2, and GDF-5 to support hyaline-like cartilage formation. Compatible with Microfracture technique and shelf-stable at ambient temperature.

Arthroscopic Graft Delivery System
A sterile, single-use instrument designed to assist in the delivery of allograft, autograft, or synthetic bone graft materials to orthopedic surgical sites via an arthroscopic portal.
Contructed from clear, medical-grade polycarbonate to ensure optimal visibility of biomaterial during delivery. The device features an integrated spatula tip for smooth, controlled application and even distribution of material. Laser-etched orientation markers provide precise visual guidance to support accurate placement during use.
The disposable kit includes a threaded extruder cannula, obturator, and six sterile, cotton-tipped applicators. Available as part of the CartiMax® FA Viable Cartilage Allograft system.
Cartilage Allograft Matrix
Taken from the distal femur and processed using MTF Biologics’ proprietary methods, CONMED’s Cartilage Allograft Matrix provides a better approach to standard microfractures. It triggers the creation of hyaline-like cartilage, which more closely resembles the patient’s original anatomy. In an in-vivo animal study comparing two approaches, it was found that the Cartilage Allograft Matrix provided a layer of hyaline-like cartilage.1
