NeoSpan® Compression Implant System
Uncompromised compression.
Uncompromised compression.
CONMED’s NeoSpan® Compression Implant System is an expansion of the NeoSpan® Compression Staple System, consisting of fourteen reimagined Nitinol implant configurations in In-Line and T-Shaped varieties for primary fixation of fractures, fusions, or osteotomies of the hand and foot.
An updated circumferential barbed leg geometry is incorporated into all implant configurations with select variations including the addition of up to three threaded screw holes for additional construct fixation.
All instrumentation and implants associated with the NeoSpan® Compression Implant System arrive delivered pre-sterilized and OR-ready, providing logistical, quality, and cost benefits to the healthcare provider by removing the need for on-site sterile processing.
Leveraging the material properties of Superelastic Nitinol, the NeoSpan® CIS Implants arrive preloaded on an Inserter in their Natural State. Upon deployment from the Inserter from their Active State, the Implants return to their preformed bowed body which enables dynamic compression in the construct.
