Sutura, listón y cinta Hi-Fi®

El listón Hi-Fi® es una sutura plana, sujetable de 1,3 mm de ancho. Es dos veces más ancha que la sutura n.º 2, lo que se traduce en una mayor compresión y superficie de contacto entre el tendón y el hueso. El listón es un 14 % más resistente que la sutura n.º 2 de alta resistencia y los apilamientos de nudos son más pequeños que con la sutura USP n.º 2.1,2

La cinta Hi-Fi® es un 69 % menos abrasiva que la cinta del principal competidor si se mide el desgarro del tendón3 y ofrece una compresión más amplia que la sutura n.º 2 para lograr una mayor superficie de contacto entre el tendón y el hueso. La cinta es más que el doble de resistente que la sutura n.º 24 y simplifica las reparaciones de dos hileras ya que elimina la necesidad de atado de nudos mediales.

La sutura Hi-Fi® es una sutura trenzada, no absorbible, para la reparación de tejidos blandos. Está diseñada para proporcionar una fuerza excepcional de atado de nudos y ayudar a minimizar el daño en los tendones. De hecho, según recientes la literatura revisada por pares, se comprobó que la sutura Hi-Fi® n.º 2 de CONMED reduce el índice de corte medio en más del 50 %, comparada con FiberWire y FiberTape, que resultaron más abrasivas en el punto de contacto entre la sutura y el tendón y causaron un mayor desgarro del tendón.6
