BioBrace®RC

Delivery System

For Arthroscopic Augmentation of Rotator Cuff Repairs

Streamlined Rotator Cuff Repair with BioBrace®RC

BioBrace®RC is designed to simplify and accelerate arthroscopic rotator cuff repair by integrating the BioBrace® implant directly into the surgical workflow and eliminating steps. Here's how it transforms the procedure:

BioBraceRC Delivery System

Pre-Attached Implant for Seamless Delivery

BioBrace® comes pre-attached to the BioBrace®RC instrument, eliminating the need for additional tools or steps to deliver the implant arthroscopically.

BioBraceRC Under Angled 23x30

Efficient, Simultaneous Suture Passing

The instrument enables quick and simultaneous passage of all medial sutures through the BioBrace® using a built-in suture management system. No needles or suture passers are required and all sutures are passed at once—saving valuable OR time.

BioBraceRC 23x30 Pad

Pre-Sutured for Lateral Fixation

BioBrace® is pre-sutured laterally and ready for anchor fixation, removing the need for additional suture passing during this step.

Once medial sutures are passed through the rotator cuff and BioBrace®RC, the top portion of BioBrace®RC slides back to pass all sutures through BioBrace® and detach the BioBrace® from the instrument. A handle, with BioBrace® at the end, is then used to guide BioBrace into the shoulder and place it on the tendon. After securing BioBrace® to tendon with sutures medially, the pre-loaded lateral sutures are secured to bone using anchors, completing the repair with speed and precision.

RoHI (Rotator Cuff Healing Index)

Since numerous factors impact the risk of failure in tendon healing, the RoHI scoring index was created to help predict rotator cuff healing.
