Bioscrew®

Interferenzschraube

Die Familie der BioScrew®-Interferenzschrauben ist klinisch gleichwertig zu Metallinterferenzschrauben. Sie bestehen aus Poly-L-Milchsäure, sorgen während des gesamten Heilungsprozesses für eine sichere Transplantatfixation und werden langsam resorbiert, bis sie schließlich verschwunden sind.

Die BioScrew®-XtraLok®-Interferenzschrauben sind für die tibiale Fixierung von Weichgewebetransplantaten bei der Rekonstruktion des vorderen Kreuzbandes und der PCL vorgesehen. Eine proximale Fläche, die um 35 Grad abgewinkelt ist, ermöglicht eine bündige Platzierung mit der anterioren Tibiakortikalis. Das proximale Ende erweitert sich um 1 mm im Durchmesser, um eine zusätzliche Fixierung der Kortikalis zu ermöglichen. Durch die violette Farbe der Schraube ist sie bei der Insertion besser sichtbar.

Die Guardsman® Style BioScrew® Interferenzschrauben sind speziell für die Oberschenkelfixierung konzipiert. Der abgerundete Kopf drückt das Transplantat zur maximalen Fixierung in den Tunnel und schützt das Transplantat an der intraartikulären Insertionsstelle. Die abgeschrägte Spitze erleichtert die Insertion in den Tunnel.
