CONMED offers a wide range of allograft choices including Anterior Tibialis Tendon, Posterior Tibialis Tendon, Peroneus Longus Tendon, Semitendinosus Tendon, and Gracilis Tendon. Recent clinical data suggests equivalence between Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation (MTF) soft tissue allografts and autografts for ACL reconstruction2 , and demonstrates no difference in outcome between younger and older patients.3,4,5 This means that by choosing an MTF allograft, surgeons could get the same outcome without having to go through the additional time, trouble and invasiveness of harvesting a graft from their patient while eliminating donor site morbidity and secondary incision sites.
