AirSeal® Access Ports

Part of CONMED's AirSeal® System

AirSeal® Access Ports provide:

  • Valve-free access to the abdominal cavity
  • Intact specimen removal
  • Unimpeded introduction and removal of clips, needles, sutures, and mesh

Unlike standard trocars, AirSeal® Access Ports feature a valve-less trocar design that provides the additional benefits of no noticeable friction as instruments are placed through the cannula, no mechanical structure to impede the removal of material, and nothing to smudge a laparoscope during reinsertion.

They also feature a double-walled cannula, which enables the system to deliver CO2 through four nares in the distal tip, unobstructed by instruments inside the cannula.
