Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Reduce Challenges

Cholecystectomy is the surgical removal of the gallbladder. It is a common treatment of symptomatic gallstones and other gallbladder conditions. Cholecystectomy surgery offers several challenges due to surgical smoke and high rate of irritation to the phrenic nerve. When performed minimally invasive, CONMED's AirSeal® System offers superior smoke evacuation while maintaining a stable pneumoperitoneum even at low pressure. Clinical data has shown reduced PACU stay, shorter procedure times, and reduced length of stay.1-4

AIRSEAL®

AirSeal® iFS

Enables you to perform surgery at a set pressure with confidence, so you'll maintain your working space. Unlike conventional high-flow insufflation, AirSeal® maintains a stable pneumoperitoneum even with large leaks and heavy suction.1,2
