BeachChair Shoulder Positioning System

The BeachChair Shoulder Positioning System has been designed to provide the surgeon a secure method of performing arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery with the patient in a seated position. The use of the BeachChair reduces the possibility of neurapraxia associated with the use of traction when arthroscopy is performed with the patient in the lateral decubitus position. This device will lock onto all standard operating room tables and is easily adjustable for patient height and amount of angle desired. Essential pads, restraints, and positioning wedges are included with initial order.

Shoulder Holder

The Shoulder Holder is designed for upper extremity joint distraction during arthroscopic procedures.

• Adjustable to 0, 30 and 45 degree angles to insure proper limb positioning.
• Attaches securely to most hospital beds.
• Designed for use in shoulder, elbow and wrist arthroscopy.
• Includes a vinyl-covered stainless steel cable for strength.

Soft Tissue Retractor System

The Tissue Retractor system is a fully modular system which is sold as a kit or as individual components. The 3-point retractor system is ideal for any open or mini-open procedure where visualization and exposure to the surgical site is crucial. This fully self-locking device allows for intraoperative adjustments of the retractor while maintaining the integrity of the surgical site through the use of a quick-release, locking forceps and a spring-loaded ratchet style wing nut for the center paddle. The paddles are available in either blunt or aggressive tip configurations and lengths of 35mm, 50mm and 75mm.
