ConMed EndoSurgery took root within the CONMED family in the late 1980s as the world of laparascopic surgery was beginning to evolve. An electronic trocar system was quickly followed up with one of the world’s first blunt tip, disposable trocar systems. Our Universal Plus® suction/irrigation system was developed and quickly became widely accepted as a premier medical device by our customers.

Today, CONMED EndoSurgery has grown its product offering into a complete line of unique endomechanical instrumentation for minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. It specializes in the development and supply of abdominal access systems such as trocars, laparoscopic manual instrumentation such as dissectors and graspers, ligation and stapling devices and a complete line of laparoscopic suction/irrigation/electrosurgical products.
