We haven’t stopped growing since CONMED began in 1973. Beginning as a small, private company manufacturing ECG monitoring electrodes, we have become a large, publicly held, and diversified medical device organization specializing in orthopedics and general surgery. We take pride in the broad breadth of products that we can offer to the medical market. CONMED has 8 major product areas: 1) Arthroscopy (instrumentation, implants, fixation and tissue repair systems); 2) Powered Instruments (drills and saws for orthopedic and surgical specialty use); 3) Electrosurgery (RF generators and accessories); 4) Patient Care (vital signs, OR products and IV/wound care systems); 5) EndoSurgery (endomechanical devices for minimally-invasive general surgery); 6) Integrated Systems; 7) Endoscopy (multi-speciality medical video and digital capture systems); and 8) EndoscopicTechnologies (diagnostic & therapeutic products for Gastroenterology and Pulmonology). These products are sold under several brand names, including: CONMED^®, Linvatec^® and Hall^® each of which are well known to medical professionals who know that they can turn to CONMED for innovation, quality and value, not for just one product, but for a whole array of devices to meet their particular needs.

Our most important strength is teamwork. We have 3,100 top-notch people throughout our organization. Our employees are located in 11 manufacturing facilities in the United States and in sales offices throughout the world.
