Axcess offers the physician precise, multi-planar control of the papillotome during cannulation.
This means the device can be made to track through the anatomy rather than forcing the anatomy to follow
the device. The physician moves/directs the tip in incremental movements as cannulation is occurring.
Multi-directionality allows positioning of the guidewire axis more preferentially with the CBD axis.
The guidewire exits in a central position to facilitate cannulation.
The most challenging part of the ERCP procedure is cannulation*. At ConMed, we address this
challenge with the Axcess™ Multi-Directional Papillotome, proudly introduced at DDW’08.
