ConMed Endoscopic Technologies offers a broad range of cytology brushes to obtain the optimal number of cells for determining the most accurate diagnosis. The smaller the diameter of the cytology brush the stiffer the bristles. Harder bristles (smaller working diameter) are best suited for sampling cells from firm tissue. Softer bristles (larger working diameter) are less traumatic and are best suited for sampling cells from softer tissue.
