Description of Duties/Qualifications

		PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
This position will provide strategic marketing direction, and tactical management of product development, relative to the Hall Power business segment as well as for the Service component of the Linvatec business.  This position has global responsibility for directing the marketing, sales and support of these product lines in order to achieve the company’s revenue and earnings objectives.  The position plays a key role in determining future research and development strategies, providing growth opportunities, both organic and acquisition and ensuring that Linvatec maintains a current understanding of clinical and procedural trends and technology advances that affect this industry.  The position requires a proven leader that can deliver a focused and results-oriented team.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•	Growth of market share and market presence for the product lines within the Hall Power product group.
•	Achievement of global revenue and earnings targets for the Hall Power product group and for the Linvatec Service and Repair Organization (SRO).
•	Management of pricing for products within the Hall Power product group and SRO.
•	Support of the domestic and international sales organization towards achievement of company’s sales objectives.
•	Provide direction and strategy for current and future Hall Power product development.
•	Ensure a productive and efficient working relationship between marketing and other functional groups within Linvatec.
•	Work closely with R&D to ensure new product development timelines are achieved.
•	Management of Marketing staff within department up to and including Director level employees.
•	Responsible for department budget and management of that budget.
•	Maintain knowledge of current clinical advancements in the Hall Power marketplace.
•	Maintain current knowledge of competitive landscape within the Hall Power market.
•	Work with the Service and Repair Organization to implement policies that meet both the needs of the customer as well as the needs of Linvatec.
•	Manage the creation and the implementation of service and repair programs to 
•	Perform other duties as requested by VP of Marketing and other executive management personnel.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
•	B.S./B.A. degree, preferably in Business or Marketing, with a minimum of eight years experience in marketing, business development, or sales management.  MBA highly desired.
•	Candidate must have prior product management experience, experience in developing a marketing plan for a product line of relative size to the Hall Power group of Linvatec and demonstrated leadership of a team.
•	International marketing experience desired.
•	Position requires an individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
•	Frequent and extensive global travel is required.

o	Be reliably and predictably available to perform the major duties of the position.
o	Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
o	Ability to spend a substantial amount of time working with a computer at a standard office workstation.
o	Ability to stand, walk, stoop and bend periodically.
o	Ability to perform routine, repetitive-motioned activities.
	Ability to travel is required.
