MARKETING PRODUCT MANAGER - ACCESSORIES PRODUCT LINES

Description of Duties/Qualifications

		ConMed Electrosurgery, a medical device manufacturer & marketer of electrosurgical equipment & disposable products, has an opening for an Accessories Product Manager.

Description of Duties: 
Guide the organization’s efforts regarding the Accessories product lines resulting in increased product sales, market share, and/or margin.  Serve as the primary source of strategic and tactical direction, programs, clinical expertise, and competitive knowledge for the accessories products line and direct all marketing efforts to increase corporate/divisional sales revenues.
Successful candidates will work with management, distribution, sales, R&D, and end-users to develop and to implement effective sales and marketing strategies for assigned product lines.  Perform product maintenance functions (forecasting, sales tracking and analysis, line profitability, additions and deletions), new product development, and business development activities.  Provide technical and clinical expertise.  Able to interface with all levels of the organization and perform in a team environment.

Qualifications: 
•	Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Marketing or related technical/clinical field
•	MBA preferred
•	2 - 5 years proven experience in Product Management in the medical device industry.
•	Ability to use deductive reasoning to provide solutions to problems and challenges.
•	Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business, medical and scientific periodicals, journals, procedures, and regulations.
•	Ability to write and/or edit reports, proposals, business correspondence, presentations, collateral and procedural manuals.
•	Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
•	Up to 40% domestic, and the potential for international, travel required.
•	Able to work in hospitals, operating rooms, and from remote locations.
•	Proficiency in common business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
•	Medical device sales experience helpful.
